Glavee (they/them)

Glavee (they/them) is a Graduate Research Assistant at the H.E.R. Multimedia Lab, pursuing a Master of Social Work at San Diego State University, with an expected graduation date of May 2025. Their research focuses on holistic health resources for LGBTQ+ individuals and people of color living with HIV. Glavee is currently engaged in qualitative data analysis for a study on the dissemination of public health information to Black and Latino Queer men, as well as research examining resources available in the K-12 system for LGBTQ+ students and first- and second-generation immigrants. They are committed to an academic career aimed at making social work practice more equitable. Glavee is passionate about reading, writing, and advocating for linguistic justice in academia, with several passion projects dedicated to these causes.
