Jen Lothridge (she/her/ella) is a BSW Intern and Undergraduate Research Mentee at the H.E.R. Multimedia Lab at San Diego State University, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Social Work and Gerontology, with an expected graduation date of May 2025. Her research centers on aging and HIV among older adults, particularly Black women, and the impact of stigma across the lifespan. Jen is actively involved in community-based research and health communication at the lab, addressing the needs of marginalized populations. Her career goal is to be accepted into the SDSU Master of Social Work program and become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Outside of academics, Jen enjoys nature, kite flying, roller skating, and indulging in all things caramel.
Fun fact: She once played chicken with a tree while driving asleep!
