RoyalTea Upspoken

Digital Sexual Health Toolkit

Sexual health for women across the lifespan

Dr. Megan T. Ebor contributed to the development of the RoyalTea Sexual Health Toolkit, serving as the Content Expert.

The RoyalTea Upspoken Digital Sexual Health Toolkit is a resource designed to empower Black women and girls to have open, informed conversations about sexual health and wellness. Developed as part of the Upspoken public awareness campaign, RoyalTea provides culturally relevant, sex-positive information and step-by-step scripts on safer sex practices, prevention strategies, and body awareness. The toolkit incorporates evidence-backed information and visually appealing, positive imagery to help women feel confident in managing their sexual health. This initiative was created in response to the disproportionate impact of HIV and STIs on women of color, especially Black and Latina women, and aims to reduce stigma while promoting proactive health measures.

You can find more information on the campaign and toolkit via the California Black Women’s Health Project, which now manages the Upspoken initiative.
